There are many of us who wish to buy a Blackberry but can’t afford it as it is too expensive. Now there is good news for such people, the Alcatel OT 800 offers same looks and somewhat similar features to a Blackberry set in less than even half its price.  This new handset though does not have all the features that a Blackberry has but is it worth having and is not at all disappointing.  The main features that both have in common are the QVGA screen and the QWERTY keyboard.

The QVGA screen of Alcatel OT 800 is a colored graphical TFT screen having 262K colors. The screen has a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels and is 2.20 inches in width. The phone also has remarkable dimensions of 111 by 58.2 by 13.9 mm. To support smooth navigation through the phone the company has provided a Scroll Wheel along with the QWERTY keyboard.  This mobile phone is also equipped with a G-Sensor and Widgets to enhance its functioning.   

The Alcatel OT 800 also has a huge amount of memory to offer to its users. It has a capacity to store five hundred phone contacts. It has a shared memory of twenty MB which can be extended up to 4 GB with the help of a TransFlash memory card which can be inserted into the microSD slot. It provides its users excellent sound quality. It has a good range of polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones and other ringtone profiles to offer to its owners. It also has a good music player which allows us to search a song by album, artist or genre. It is also has a video player and recorder, though it does not have the capabilities of a full fledged media player.

The Alcatel OT 800 also offers facilities like alarm clock where up to five alarms can be set together. It has a calculator, calendar, T9, hands free, FM Radio. It also supports voice dialing and a voice memo. This mobile also comes loaded with two games which are supported by an integrated accelerometer, a pedometer and a stopwatch as well. We can also load more games on the phone and enjoying gaming.

I have a cingular prepaid cell phone, and I get this weird certificate message about hot chicks and websites… blah blah blah… capably, it said to send “STOP” to 697724 to stop any adjectives messages. So that’s what I did… Since then I haven’t gotten any actual certificate messages, but EVERY 5 minutes, seriously, EVERY 5 MINUTES on the freakin dot, I get the “The Last Transaction Cost $0.15″ message! It shows my set off, and it’s not changing… so I don’t focus it’s really charging me every time… but it’s really annoying!! I called Cingular and they didn’t enjoy anything intelligent to say, or any remedy for the problem… HELP! I can’t stand it anymore!!

2 question lg viewty signal / O2 simplicity?
I have in recent times upgraded my phone on orange to the LG viewty but i am have great difficulty with the signal. Even places where on earth my old phone get great signal this phone is getting minimal. I have tried putting the sim rear legs into my old phone to see if this is the phone or not and my prehistoric phone works fine. My first question is have anyone else had this problem? One solution i’ve thought of is getting an O2 simplicity sim for the phone. The O2 signal surrounded by our area is great and so i thought if possibly it was a specified problem with the phone – not picking up signal as in good health as other phones – going onto a network beside a stronger signal would help. My second quiz is, does the O2 simplicity sim cards support 3g? Thanks for your help

3 mobile messaging problems.?
Having trouble sending/receiving text messages on my sony erikson (W something) walkman phone. Its a contract one. Phone say ‘operation failed’ when i try to read my old messages, doesn’t receive contemporary messages at all, and tell me ’sending failed’ when I try to send a message. The company could report to me no more than to take the mobile out and turn it off. Suffice to voice that didn’t work Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks tremendously much.

3 Samsung Alias phones. HELP!?
Okay so heres the deal. Easter sunshine i got the Samsung – Alias *SCH-u740* And so i started have MAJOR problems with it, close to i would send a deed messege and my phone would restart! So we took it back and they give us a new one; they transferred adjectives my data into the trial phone .. about 3 days following started having the SAME exact problem! So took it spinal column they gave us a strange one but didnt transferr the data because they thought by doing that it be just moving the problem to every strange phone .. now i CAN distribute text’s but cant add similar to a graphic,nouns,picture .. etc! And my mom said that the only other point to do is maybe do and exchange .. approaching get a totally exotic phone but has to be same price or down?! Is within any other options? I got a Pearl for Christmas and by February I be having troubles. My phone does 4 (abnormal) things: 1) Freezes intermittently when I try to a) open applications resembling my camera or my address book and b) when I send or delete text. 2) The red ‘alert’ light is other on, even at full battery. 3) The roller bubble sometimes doesnt roll, or I can only scroll contained by one direction. 4) When I play brick breaker the game will skip and the bubble will change location lacking notice (not a big deal) I enjoy a memory card and I delete texts and emails recurrently. I do not have plentiful pictures either, give or take a few 10. I have removed the mobile both when the phone is on and off, adjectives that happens is the phone take a long time to turn on again. I only charge my phone when it get low (around 20%), and it is in a protective bag. I have never dropped it or gotten it damp, and I routinely check for dust. Its my last resort to walk to the cell store since its always a nightmare! Any beneficial ideas are treatment!
